Video Competition 2010

 

Lawn Bowls Video Competiton USA 2010

Rules and Entry Requirements:

1. The video must be between 1 minute and 10 minutes long and must be newly shot and created in the USA in 2010 during the period Jan 1 to July 31st.

2. Anyone who is a USA resident can enter.

3. The purpose of the competition is to help publicise lawn bowls in the USA and all entrants must agree to allowing their footage to be used for that purpose without charge. Proper credits will always be observed.

4.To enter your video, upload your video to YouTube or a similar online video site where the judges and USLBA members can view it. In addition to your title and credits and keywords, please add the keyword phrase: "Lawn Bowls Video Competition USA 2010".

5. Once uploaded, email the webmaster (see address below) with your online link, your name and phone number and email address, as well as a very brief summary of how and when the video was made. Also specifically state that you acknowledge your video can be used for publicity purposes by the USLBA subject to the proper credits. Consider your video accepted when you get an acknowledgement back from the webmaster.

6. A small panel of independent judges from different parts of the country has been appointed. Their decision is final and they are aware they cannot personally enter the competition.

7. You may enter more than once (max 6 times), but you can only win one prize.

8. First prize is a brand new set of custom USA red, white and blue speckled Tiger II bowls from Lawn Bowls USA, your Henselite distributor. Winner will be contacted and told about size and logo choices available at that time in USA.

9. Alternative First Prize: Should the winner not wish to have a new set of lawn bowls, an alternative prize of $300 may be selected.

10. Second Prize: To be announced (sponsor wanted)

11. Third Prize is a pair of silver and copper bracelets from Safari Gold.

12. You may want to promote your video yourself as well to all your fans and club members, as well as on the Facebook US Lawn Bowls fan page.
