National Championships
A USLBA-Sponsored Tournament
The National Championships is one of three tournaments sponsored by the USLBA:

This annual event is a competition among bowlers who represent the USLBA's seven divisions. While the USLBA sponsors the event, it is hosted and operated by a division. In 2011 it was in the Northwest's Jefferson Park Lawn Bowling Club club, August 23-28. San Diego will be the 2012 host.

Prior to 2008, this tournament was know as the "U.S. Championships".
Divisions conduct Playdowns to determine who will represent them.

Regulations
The regulations governing play are prescribed in the USLBA's 2011 Laws booklet (beginning on page 4).
Format
The tournament includes men's and women's singles and pairs competiton.
Former Champions
The list of champions identifies the winners by name and division.
History
The National Championships were first played as a men's event in 1957. Women's events were added in 1977.
