Hotel
The
central HQ for check-in, banquet and accomodations is the
DoubleTree
Berkeley Marina Hotel. From this hotel you will be centrally
located to all the greens. Plus you will have stunning views
of the San Francisco Bay and convenient access to many of
Northern California's top tourist attractions.

Travel
and Transportation
Oakland
International (OAK) is the closest airport, and has many low-cost
domestic flights. San Francisco
International (SFO) has flights from all around the world.
On the map, SFO is underneath the words San Francisco Bay
as you first see the map. OAK is immediately across the Bay
from there.
You
will be responsible for your own transportation to and from
the hotel and the greens. Assistance will be provided in helping
you find a ride however.
Note:
Expected travel times:
- Hotel
to Oakland Green: 15-20 minutes
- Hotel
to Walnut Creek (Rossmoor) Green: 45 minutes (mostly against
the traffic)
- Hotel
to San Francisco Green (unfortunately in rush hour across
the Bay Bridge): 60 minutes (assuming car pool - 3 or more
per vehicle - else add 30 minutes)
Parking is
free in all locations except Oakland (though we are working
on this). Special parking issues on weekends in San Francisco
will be addressed at check-in. |
